Pork

piglet eatingWe purchase weaned pigs from highly reputable producers in our area. Most of our pigs are Yorkshire crosses. We bring them home and turn them out on the dirt in large pens, where they can enjoy being pigs! After a few days on the dirt, we let them out into a larger pasture where they have more than enough room to roam and root, and just act like pigs should.

Our hogs are finished on premixed, sacked hog feed and supplemented with eggs from the hen house and scraps from my garden. While we grow these pigs, they receive no added hormones or antibiotics. What they do get is plenty of fresh air, exercise and sunshine.

When the hogs are ready, they are transported to the USDA inspected harvest facility located just a few miles from our home. We will help you to decide how you would like your pork cut and wrapped to fit the likes and needs of your family. When our home grown pork is ready for your freezer, we deliver it to you.

Just as we do with our beef, we sell our pork in the way that will provide you the greatest value. The hogs are sold by the half (arrangements can be make for a quarter or whole) and the price includes all delivery and processing charges.
